Lemari asam adalah peralatan laboratorium yang digunakan untuk melakukan pereaksial (Reaksi) Kimia yang dilengkapi dengan pentilasi udara untuk mencegah paparan sinar matahari atau debu terhadap bahan kimia dan juga untuk mencegah orang yang melakukan reaksi kimia dari paparan benda berbahaya yang sedang di reaksikan.

Lemari Asam Lokal

Lemari asam terdri dari 2 jenis : ducting dan ductless (tanpa ducting). Prinsip lemari asam ini sama
saja, udara dihisap dari depan pintu lemari asam, kemudian dikeluarkan oleh blower hisap, menuju keluar gudang atau bahan penyaring.

Lemari asam adalah alat laboratorium yang dirancang untuk melakukan percobaan menggunakan zat kimia tertentu untuk penelitian tentang reaksi kimia. Bahan kimia di laboratorium merupakan zat yang berbahaya jika langsung terkena anggota tubuh. Lemari asam di desain dengan ventilasi khusus yang dapat meredam reaksi kimia berupa
gas atau lainnya agar tidak menyebar ke udara dan membahayakan lingkungan.
